According to eyewitness account, the blast which took place at Tukur Tukur area near Barewa College, occurred when soldiers of the Joint Task Force (JTF) stormed some buidings in the area, which were inhabited by suspected members of Boko Haram sect.
Unconfirmed reports claim that residents were warned to evacuate their homes ahead of the military operation, following a tip-off. 3 people are already confirmed dead.
